Advanced Valve & Instrument is thrilled to welcome Veena Shankar to our team as an accounting assistant. With a strong background in customer service, Veena brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to her new role.
Veena’s primary focus is supporting AVI’s accounting workflow. She enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with numbers and ensuring financial accuracy. Her detail-oriented nature is a perfect fit for the role.
“I love the aspect of working with numbers and the role of a bookkeeper,” Veena shares. “I love when things balance out exactly.”
Veena’s typical day involves managing invoices, paying vendors and bills, and monitoring cash flow. She also finds satisfaction in the autonomy her position provides.
“The feeling of accomplishment and finishing a list of tasks is what motivates me,” Veena explains.
When she’s not at work, Veena enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and exploring quiet spaces.
