The same designer who invented and patented the four offset butterfly valve in 2008 is introducing now the newest evolution in butterfly valve design. The first butterfly valve in the world which is not using a regular cone for it’s seat design.
In the newly designed V-AXX® valve, the seat shape can be changed around the whole seat without restrictions. If necessary, the angle of the seat, even in the shaft area, can be 25° or more, without changing the angle in other areas. This is only possible due to the unique seat design, which is not formed by a simple cone but by a much more complex figure, not yet named in geometry.
Durco offers a full line of High Performance Butterfly Valve in multiple configurations including Soft Seated (PFA), Fire Safe (API 607 Version V) and Metal Seated and special Tri-Flex Seat option for higher temperatures up to 1000F.

Wey now offers our traditional High Performance VL knife gate in a Double Block & Bleed design or DB Series. The DB uses 2 separate Sealing Elements (gates) which independently seal and a single operator of your choosing. Valves have bleed ports available to bleed the cavity between the 2 gates so that positive shutoff can be confirmed prior to beginning work. This valve is available from size 3” – 30” as standards though larger sizes can be custom ordered.
Habonim now offers its Double Block & Bleed valve from sizes 1” – 4” in a standard ANSI B16 face to face!! This means you can now replace existing ANSI 150# Flanged Ball Valves with a single Habonim DB&B….without making pipe modifications! Call AVI to discuss your specific application as these are also available in special alloys!
